About PSE&G Electric Vehicle Charging Program

PSE&G’s Clean Energy Future – Electric Vehicle (EV) Program received approval to invest $166 million to build out New Jersey’s EV charging infrastructure, which will have customer and societal benefits. It will also put New Jersey on track to become a front-runner in transportation electrification. The EV program is designed to support the deployment of EV chargers across a wide range of customers and sectors including Residential, Mixed-Use and Public DC Fast Charging. This program offsets the cost of make ready infrastructure needed to operate EV chargers. Customers are responsible for the cost of the EV charging unit. Make ready infrastructure is defined as the work on the utility side of the meter, known as pole to meter (PTM) and on the customer side of the meter, known as behind the meter (BTM).

ChargePoint

  • Charger ID is the 12 Digit Serial Number.
  • It can be found on the side of the physical charger or within the ChargePoint app on your phone.
    1. Open the ChargePoint app. On the main menu, click “ Home Charger .“
    2. Select “ Settings .“
    3. Select “ About Charger “.

EnelX/JuiceBox

  • Charger ID is the 28 Digit JuiceBox ID
  • Your JuiceBox ID can be found from the QR code on the side label.
    1. Open camera app on your phone
    2. Aim the camera at the QR code and hold steady for several seconds.
    3. Your phone will notify you of your 28-digit JuiceBox ID.
  • To find your JuiceBox ID from the Mobile App, do the following steps:
    1. Open the menu in the top right corner of the screen.
    2. Select 'Device Settings'.
    3. You will see the Device ID with a long number between 25 and 28 digits long.
  • Where can I find my JuiceBox ID?

Other Charger Manufacturers

  • Please provide the serial number of the charger either found on the physical device or through the mobile app.

Open the ChargePoint app. On the main menu, click “Home Charger.” Select “Settings.” Select “About Charger” and enter the serial number.
